OneDrive Getting Customized Folder Colors

 

Microsoft announced that later this year, OneDrive will allow customizing folders color.
This has been a recurrent users request, that wanted to give different aspect to different types of content inside the folders.

Windows 10 – GPOs – Disable OneDrive

Need to disable Microsoft OneDrive in your enterprise?

Here’s how:

1. Open GPMC
2. Edit your GPO
3. Navigate to Computer Configuration | Administrative Templates | Windows Components | OneDrive
4. Double-click “Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage"
5. Select “Enabled”

All done!

Microsoft SkyDrive will turn to Microsoft OneDrive

Imposed by lawsuit, Microsoft announced that it's cloud storage service (SkyDrive) will soon been renamed to Microsoft OneDrive, half a year later of the lawsuit from British Sky Broadcasting Group.

Ryan Gavin, a Microsoft VP, stated that although it's not easy do renamed a brand like SkyDrive, this new brand gives even more focus on the excellence of the product.
