Satya Nadella - First e-mail to all Microsoft employees

After the official announcement has the new Microsoft CEO, here's the public e-mail sent from him to all Microsoft employees:

Satya Nadella it's now official!

After a lot of speculation, Satya Nadella was today announced officially as the new Microsoft CEO and succeeds to historical Steve Balmer.
Satya, 46 years old was born on India and was until today responsible for Microsoft's Cloud Services.

Microsoft SkyDrive will turn to Microsoft OneDrive

Imposed by lawsuit, Microsoft announced that it's cloud storage service (SkyDrive) will soon been renamed to Microsoft OneDrive, half a year later of the lawsuit from British Sky Broadcasting Group.

Ryan Gavin, a Microsoft VP, stated that although it's not easy do renamed a brand like SkyDrive, this new brand gives even more focus on the excellence of the product.

A flaw discovered in the past weeks in Google Chrome, makes it possbile to malicious sites to keep listening what you're saying even after you close the website you allowed.

VMware vCenter Server 5.5 Installation Hangs

When installing vCenter 5.5 (simple installation) on a Microsoft Windows Server 2012, the setup hangs almost when finishing.

This happens because the installer it's looking for something that Windows Server 2012 doesn't have.
The ocsetup.exe file.

To fix this, you'll need to:

• Find a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine and copy the OCSetup.exe from %windir%\system32 to your Windows Server 2012 machine
  
• Then, install the feature Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services
  
• Restart your machine and restart your vCenter 5.5 setup

Windows 8.1 Update 1 - Metro and Desktop Fusion!

New images from Windows 8.1 Update 1 are emerging over the web and it should be launched in April.
In this new images it's possible to know that finally Microsoft it's merging the Metro and Desktop experience.

It will be possible with Update 1 (and in Windows "9" by the way) to run apps or metro apps while using the desktop. There's also a new option called "Show Store apps on the taskbar" which also make using Windows 8.1 a more fluid experience.
