Microsoft Hotfix – KB368028

For slow startups after applying Windows 7 Service Pack 1

It seems there are some users complaining that after installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1, their systems don’t want to startup so quickly how they should.
After some Microsoft investigation it seems the problem it’s related with people that have a lot of restore points and a big ReadyBoot cache.

So Microsoft launched an hotfix to correct the…hotfix!
